  13. Account deletion and information retention

    1. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the privacy settings in your account settings in the Community Suite.  Following such a request, we will delete information relating to your account where possible and provided that it is no longer needed for a valid purpose or required to be kept by law. We will not be able to delete information that has been provided to other members and users of the Community Suite (including by you) or that you have disclosed in relation to a public forum or social interaction in relation to the Community Suite.

    2. In certain circumstances, we may be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an outstanding credit on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute between us and you, or between us and another member or user of the Community Suite to which the information pertains. Upon resolution of the issue preventing deletion, we will delete your account as described above.

    3. We may also retain certain information if necessary for our legitimate business reasons as indicated in this Privacy Policy, such as fraud prevention. For example, if we shut down a member account because of unsafe behaviour or security incidents, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that member from opening a new account in the future.
